Biography
Mr. Covner received his undergraduate education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating with a B.A. in Religious Studies. He attended the Santa Barbara College of Law in the evening while working full time during the day. During law school, he interned for one year at the Santa Barbara County Counsel's Office. Mr. Covner was the Valedictorian of his law school graduating class in 1997. In April of 1998, Mr. Covner began his legal career with an insurance defense law firm in Ventura. He has been Of Counsel to Norman Dowler LLP since 2012.
He serves as a Judge Pro Tem for the Ventura County Superior Court and as an arbitrator for the Beverly Hills Bar Association Mandatory Fee Arbitration program.
